This unforgettable 11-day safari takes you on an incredible journey through six of Kenya’s most remarkable national parks, including the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Known for its abundant wildlife and sweeping savannahs, the Mara offers some of the best game viewing in Africa and is home to lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos—the legendary Big Five.

Itinery
Day 1 Nairobi — > Amboseli
Depart from Nairobi in the morning and travel south to Amboseli National Park, enjoying scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, check in to your accommodation and enjoy lunch while taking in the peaceful surroundings.
In the afternoon, head out on your first game drive across Amboseli’s open plains, where you may spot elephants and other wildlife with views of Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. During the drive, take a short hike up Observation Hill for panoramic views before returning to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2 Amboseli Full Day
Spend the day exploring the incredible landscapes of Amboseli National Park on game drives across its open plains, swamps, and woodlands. Known for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli offers excellent opportunities to spot a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and many species of birds.
Take your time enjoying the park’s beauty, with breaks to relax and soak in the stunning vistas. Later in the day, embark on a short hike up Observation Hill, where sweeping panoramic views of the park, elephants roaming below, and the snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro in the distance create unforgettable photo opportunities.
After a day filled with adventure and wildlife encounters, return to your lodge or camp to unwind. Enjoy a delicious dinner as you reflect on the wonders of Amboseli and the remarkable animals you’ve encountered..
Day 3 Amboseli —> Nairobi
After breakfast, depart Amboseli National Park and head toward Kiambu County (Near Nairobi). Check into the accommodation and have lunch.
Later, visit the stunning Fourteen Falls, a series of cascading waterfalls surrounded by lush greenery. Enjoy the scenery, take photos, and soak in the beauty of this natural attraction.
After the visit, return to your accommodation to unwind and enjoy dinner, reflecting on the day’s journey and sights.
Day 4 Nairobi — > Samburu
Depart from Nairobi in the morning for a scenic drive north to Samburu National Reserve. Along the way, stop in Nanyuki for a short break and the chance to photograph the famous Equator Marker.
Continue the drive to Samburu and check in to your chosen accommodation, where lunch will be served. Spend the afternoon relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. In the late afternoon, take part in a cultural experience with the local Samburu people, learning about their traditions, customs, and daily life.
Return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay, preparing for your adventure in the reserve over the coming days.

Day 5 Samburu & Buffalo Springs Full Day
Spend the day immersed in the wonders of the wild, searching for wildlife while exploring the vast savannah reserve. Wander through sweeping grasslands dotted with acacia trees, and keep your eyes peeled for grazing herds, graceful antelope, and the occasional prowling predator.
Continue your adventure as you enter Buffalo Springs, where the landscape changes and the natural springs offer a refreshing oasis. Take the opportunity to explore the area further and enjoy a rejuvenating dip in the crystal-clear waters, surrounded by the sounds of nature.
After a day filled with discovery and adventure, return to your accommodation to unwind, relax, and reflect on the day’s experiences. As evening descends, savour a leisurely dinner, letting the memories of the savannah linger while you rest in comfort.
Day 6 Samburu —> Ol Pejeta
After breakfast, take a short drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, one of Kenya’s leading wildlife conservancies known for its rich biodiversity and important conservation work. Upon arrival, check in to your accommodation and enjoy a relaxing lunch while taking in the peaceful surroundings.
In the afternoon, head out for an exciting game drive across the conservancy, searching for wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and rhinos. Ol Pejeta is also home to one of the largest populations of black rhinos in East Africa, making it a fantastic place for wildlife viewing.
Later in the evening, return to your accommodation to relax and unwind before enjoying a delicious dinner, followed by an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.
Day 7 Ol Pejeta —> Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, enjoy a free morning where you can relax or choose from one of the optional activities available. This is a great opportunity to take in the peaceful surroundings, explore the area further, or simply unwind before continuing the journey.
After lunch, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, a beautiful park located in the heart of the Great Rift Valley and well known for its rich wildlife and birdlife. Upon arrival, take a short hike up Baboon Cliff, one of the park’s most famous viewpoints, where you can enjoy stunning panoramic views over the lake, the surrounding acacia woodlands, and the wildlife that roams the park below.
After taking in the breathtaking scenery and capturing some memorable photos, return to your accommodation to relax and unwind. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner and settle in for the night, reflecting on the day’s experiences.

Day 8 Lake Nakuru —> Maasai Mara
After breakfast, set out for a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, exploring its acacia woodlands and lakeshores while spotting rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and the famous flamingos.
After the game drive, depart for the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, check in to your accommodation, relax, and enjoy a delicious dinner, reflecting on the day’s wildlife encounters and cultural experiences.
Day 9 Maasai Mara Full Day
With an early morning start, we head out into the vast plains of the iconic Maasai Mara National Reserve for a full-day game drive. This is the perfect time to catch predators in action and maximise your chances of spotting the Big Five — lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and buffalo — along with countless other wildlife species that call the Mara home.
During the day, you’ll also visit the famous Mara River, known for dramatic wildlife scenes during the migration season. Here, you’ll take a guided walk along the riverbanks, where you may spot hippos, crocodiles, and other animals drawn to the water.
We will also stop at the Kenya–Tanzania border marker inside the reserve, giving you the chance to stand at the point that separates Kenya from Tanzania — a great photo opportunity and a memorable highlight of the day.
At midday, enjoy a picnic lunch under the shade of a tree within the park, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness. After lunch, continue exploring the reserve before returning to camp in the evening, filled with unforgettable safari memories.

Day 10 Maasai Mara —> Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, visit a local Maasai village for a cultural experience. After, depart for Lake Naivasha, a scenic freshwater lake in the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival, embark on a sunset boat ride across the shimmering waters, keeping an eye out for hippos, waterbirds, and other wildlife as the sun casts a golden glow over the lake.
After the boat ride, check in to your accommodation, relax, and enjoy a delicious dinner before spending the night surrounded by the peaceful lakeside scenery.
Maasai Mara Options: morning hike for panoramic views, hot air balloon
Day 11 Lake Naivasha —> Nairobi
After breakfast, embark on a boat ride to Crescent Island on Lake Naivasha, where you will enjoy a guided walk among freely roaming wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, and antelopes, experiencing an up-close encounter with the animals in their natural habitat.
After the visit, drive back to Nairobi, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or designated drop-off point, concluding a memorable wildlife and nature experience.
